» Trekking to the "Tacco di Tisiddu"
The “tacco” of
Tisiddu, with its sheer and spectacular
limestone walls, overlooks Ulassai. The walk to
the summit, called Bruncu Matzei (957 metres),
is an easy 1 hour walk on a good path. From the
summit, in addition to the great view of the
town below and the surrounding hills, you can
see the vast expanse of Eastern Sardinia, from
the peaks of the “Gennargentu” to the natural
monument “Perda Liana”. The return walk is by
means of the same route or there is the
possibility of taking the path that leads
through the narrow “Su Stampu” mountain pass.
Coming back to the village, visit the public
washhouse with Maria Lai and Costantino Nivola’s
works of art. |
